Excellent filtration performance reduces the pollution to the engine’s interior during intake.

Supports daily maintenance and batch purchasing of spare parts for projects, meeting your long-term needs.
We Provide Application-Based Matching
UsuperPower is dedicated to assisting customers in selecting the most suitable air filters. We do not merely choose air filters based on their size, but rather match them according to the specific applications of the engine and generator. The appropriate filter should be compatible with the engine model, generator configuration, filter part number, sealing design, and operating environment. As a generator manufacturer, we have a deep understanding of the interrelationships between air filters, engines, and intake systems. We can help you determine the appropriate specifications based on your engine model, generator model, existing filter number, size, and photos, thereby reducing the risk of incompatible filters when ordering.

Balanced Filtration and Airflow
The key feature of our generator air filter is that it can maintain high-efficiency filtration while also ensuring a stable air intake volume. We will select the filter type based on the filtration requirements of diesel engines and diesel generator sets to achieve a balance between filtration and air intake, make reasonable choices for the air filter, replace it in a timely manner, and ensure both the filtration efficiency and air intake volume, so as to maintain the normal operation of the generator set.
Why Source Generator Air Filters from Us?
We have been manufacturing generator sets for a long time, accumulating extensive experience, which enables us to understand that an air filter is not just a standalone component—it must be matched with the intake system, engine, entire unit, and operating environment.
We offer not only air filters but also other generator set components to meet your long-term maintenance needs. In addition, we supply parts such as AVR and ATS.
Since we manufacture generator sets ourselves, we fully understand the engines and generator applications behind the parts we provide.
Need Help Finding the Right Generator Air Filter? Not sure which air filter is suitable for your generator? Please provide the model of your engine, the model of your generator, the serial number of the existing filter, or the size and picture of the filter. UsuperPower can help you select the most suitable filter specification.

What is an Air Filter?
In a generator set, the air filter is typically mounted on the engine to remove dust and particulates from the incoming air, preventing these foreign substances from entering the engine.
What Does a Generator Air Filter Do?
In a generator set, the air filter is typically mounted on the engine to remove dust and particulates from the incoming air, preventing these foreign substances from entering the engine. Before understanding how an air filter works, it’s important to first grasp how an engine operates. An engine converts the chemical energy from fuel combustion into mechanical energy, which drives a generator to produce electricity. For fuel to burn efficiently, air must enter the engine, and this incoming air needs to be clean—otherwise, combustion efficiency will be compromised and impurities may accumulate inside the engine. The air filter is responsible for removing dust and particulates from the incoming air as it enters the engine.
When it’s time to replace the air filter
The following situations indicate that you may need to replace the air filter.
The resistance of the air filter is very high: When the resistance is high, the amount of air entering the intake system is very small. At this time, it can be suspected that the air filter is clogged and replacement is necessary.
Engine power decreases: When the air filter is clogged, the intake air volume decreases, the fuel combustion efficiency is lower, resulting in a decrease in engine power.
Black smoke is emitted: Due to the low intake of air or the presence of a lot of impurities, incomplete fuel combustion or the mixture of impurities causes the engine to emit black smoke.
How to Choose the Right Generator Air Filter?
You can choose the suitable air filter from the following several aspects:
Engine Model
The air filter is usually installed in the engine of the generator. Make sure to identify the engine model accurately to ensure a proper fit. The intake systems, filter sizes, and installation methods of different engines vary. Before making a choice, please find out the brand and specific model of the engine and provide it to us. If you don’t know the previous air filter model, we will recommend the most suitable air filter for you.
Generator Set Model
If you don’t know the model of the engine, you can provide the specific model of the entire generator set. The engine is the main component of the generator. By knowing the model of the generator set, we can infer the model of the engine and the air filter. As the manufacturer of generator sets, we have rich experience in generators. We will select the appropriate air filter for you based on the generator set model you provide.
Filter Part Number
If you still have the old air filter, you can provide the serial number of this filter, as well as the OEM number and reference number. Once we have these numbers, we will match the appropriate air filter for you.
Filter Dimensions
If you really can’t find the model of the generator, the engine model, and the previous air filter model, you can provide the size and photos of the existing air filter so that we can identify it.
If the air filter gets clogged, it will restrict the engine’s intake, affect the contact between fuel and air, and result in poor performance of the generator. In severe cases, it will impose additional pressure on the continuously operating generator, affecting its normal operation. Therefore, please regularly check the condition of the air filter.
Generally, it needs to be replaced after 500 hours of use, but there is no unified standard. The lifespan of the air filter depends on your environment, operating time, and the manufacturer’s recommendation. If your operating environment has a lot of dust and other pollutants, you will need to check and replace the filter more frequently.
Yes. As a manufacturer of power generation units, we are well aware of the relationship between air filters and the operation of generators. We can assess the specific requirements for air filters by considering the entire power generation unit.
Yes. We support your choice of air filters based on their size. However, you cannot determine the appropriate air filter for your generator solely by its size. It would be best for you to double-check the model of the generator and the manufacturer’s recommendations.
Fuel requires clean air to burn more thoroughly. If dust and particles enter the engine, not only will the fuel not burn completely, but the engine will also be damaged.
